"My 'big hair' takes too much time.
And what can I do about my blotchy skin? My makeup doesn't
help."
We updated Paymer's total look with a stylish, no-fuss cut
by trimming an inch or so from the top and sides, tapering
hair at the nape, and leaving a pretty fringe of bangs. Quick
finish: For lift at the roots, we spritzed with styling spray
just before blow-drying. To cover her skin's blotchy red areas
and broken capillaries---without creating a masklike effect
---we used corrective foundation with built-in concealer,
then set it for a long-lasting matte finish with translucent
powder. The subtle, shimmery eye shadows; taupe on the lid,
brown at the lash line. To fill in sparse brows; brown pencil.
On lips, we used a low-key matte color, topped with a bright
gloss.
What We Used: Cover-up makeup: Linda Seidel's
Natural Cover Foundation/Concealer and Performing Powder #1.
